Friendship

"I just want to be freinds," she said,
and
"I truly value your friendship."
Christ.
The worst part about it is,
she meant it.
How can I tell her
boys are never friends with girls
not beautiful one's anyways.
How can I tell her
I have never been her friend.
All this time.
I have always been a suitor.
Waiting, hoping, dreaming,
Building my fantastic castles
of bullshit imagination.
Damnit woman!
Boys are never friend's with girls,
it goes against biology.
